By bidding on any item by AmGeneral Insurance Berhad, you agree with the following Terms & Conditions:

1. The tender is for sale of Beyond Economic Repair Vehicle or Theft recovered vehicle.

2. The tender is on “As Is Where Is” basis. You are to inspect the vehicle properly before placing any tender on the subject vehicle. The subject vehicle’s condition before and after tender period should be within your consideration.

3. The market value is for reference purpose only.

4. AmGeneral Insurance Berhad is rightfully to cancel the acceptance of a successful bid in the event of the successful bid does not complete the purchase by making payment within the 14 days after issuance of sales of B.E.R./Theft Recovered Vehicle confirmation letter.

5. AmGeneral Insurance is not liable for subsequent loss / damage if the successful tenderer has failed to tow out the subject vehicle from the stipulated location. The storage charges or other fees to be borne by the successful bidder.

6. Only the successful bidder will be notified by AmGeneral Insurance Berhad after auction is closed.
   The successful tenderer is to ensure that the vehicle is repaired within 90 days in compliance with relevant authorities’ requirement.

7. AmGeneral Insurance Berhad will proceed to deregister the subject vehicle at JPJ under below circumstances, and no refund monies or whatsoever will be made by AmGeneral Insurance to you.

8. If the subject vehicle is not repaired and certified roadworthiness by PUSPAKOM within 90 days from date of sales of B.E.R vehicle confirmation letter.

9. If the subject vehicle has failed to transfer ownership at JPJ within 14 days after receipt of the original transfer ownership documents.

10. If the “double transfer ownership” is carried out, the transaction must be transferred within 7 days as per JPJ requirements.

11. The successful bidder to provide copy of updated vehicle registration card to AmGeneral Insurance Berhad within 14 days to confirm the transfer ownership is completed.

12. AmGeneral Insurance Berhad is not liable for any cost and damage if the subject vehicle has failed in PUSPAKOM roadworthiness certification, or failed to get transfer ownership due to whatsoever reason.

13. For vehicles sold as SCRAP or determined later to be SCRAP by PUSPAKOM or JPJ,AmGeneral Insurance Berhad will not provide documentation for motor interchange.
