Allianz Insurance Malaysia Terms & Conditions:

General Terms

  1. The tender is on “As Is Where Is” basis and is not inclusive of the vehicle registration number. You are to inspect the vehicle properly before placing any tender on the subject vehicle. The subject vehicle’s condition before and after tender period should be within your consideration.

  1. Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Bhd. (“ALLIANZ”) is not liable for subsequent loss / damage if the successful bidder has failed to tow out the subject vehicle from the stipulated location. The storage charges or other fees are to be borne by the successful bidder.

  1. The successful bidder shall ensure repairs to be carried out and obtain appropriate certification of roadworthiness from Vehicle Inspection Provider (i.e. Puspakom) within 4 months from the date the auction bid is awarded.

  1. In the event of failure to submit appropriate certification of roadworthiness as specified under Paragraph (3), ALLIANZ or its authorized representative should seek written clarification from successful bidder on reasons for failure to submit the certification of roadworthiness within the applicable timeline.
    In relation to Paragraph (3) and (4), in the event ALLIANZ or its authorized representative do not receive a response from the successful bidder within 2 months from the date of ALLIANZ’s written request, ALLIANZ shall reclassify the BER vehicle as an Actual Total Loss (“ATL”) vehicle with JPJ and comply with the requirements relating to ATL vehicles as required by the authorities and there is no refund or any recourse will be provided by ALLIANZ to the successful bidder.

  1. A penalty of 5% of the tender award price will be imposed in the event of non-compliance of the time to complete repairs.
  2. ALLIANZ reserves the right not to release documents for ownership transfer in the event the 5% penalty is not paid as required.

  1. The successful bidder is required to provide an undertaking letter from workshop that repaired the subject vehicle (click here for sample letter format).

  1. ALLIANZ reserves the right to perform inspection on the after-repaired vehicle prior to releasing the transfer ownership documents to the successful bidder.

  1. The successful bidder to provide a copy of updated vehicle registration card to ALLIANZ or its authorized representative within 7 days to confirm the transfer of ownership is completed.

  1. ALLIANZ is not liable for any cost and damage if the subject vehicle has failed to obtain PUSPAKOM roadworthiness certification or failed to get transfer of ownership due to whatsoever reason.

  1. For vehicles sold as SCRAP or determined later to be SCRAP by PUSPAKOM or JPJ or any relevant authorities, ALLIANZ will not provide transfer of ownership documentation.

  1. Pickles Asia Sdn Bhd is authorised to perform the JPJ ownership transfer for all sold vehicles.

  1. All JPJ ownership transfer for insurance salvage items is COMPULSORY to be executed by Pickles Asia Sdn Bhd.

  1. The JPJ ownership transfer fee to the auction winners name is RM380 per item. This amount is to be paid to Pickles Asia before any transfer can be initiated.

  1. The successful bidder is required to provide copy of updated vehicle registration card to ALLIANZ within 14 days to confirm the transfer ownership is completed.
